The official said that terms of reference of the inquiry were being prepared which would cover issues related to Rs10.5 billion Hyderabad Development Package (HDP) announced by President Gen Pervez Musharraf and what are the reasons for the delay in disposal and draining out of rainwater from Latifabad and Qasimabad talukas following September 7 and 8, rains.

The chief minister had expressed his dissatisfaction over working of the HDA and Wasa during a visit of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on September 17.

He said that officers of Wasa and HDA had been serving there for a long time but they could not even fix motors on elevated surfaces for draining out rainwater.
