KARACHI: 11 cars, 17 motorcycles taken away

KARACHI, Oct 4: At least 28 vehicles – 11 cars and 17 motorcycles -- were taken away in various areas on Wednesday.

Police sources said that six cars were snatched at gunpoint and five were reported stolen.

Similarly, 12 motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint and five motorcycles were reported stolen on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Anti-Car-Lifting Cell has arrested three persons allegedly involved in car-lifting and seized five vehicles and 11 CNG kits from them.

The ACLC conducted a raid and arrested Bilal Ali, Muhammad Naseeb and Sher Bahadur.

The vehicles seized from them included a Suzuki Cultus (AJQ-726), two Mehrans (AHN-988 and AHT-563), a Hi-Roof (CR-1945) and an un-registered Hi- Ace. Initial interrogation led to recovery of 11 CNG kits with cylinders.
