KARACHI, Oct 4: Seven ships, including two tankers carrying 15,000 tons of palm oil, are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Iran Tabatabaei, APL Osaka, to unload and load containers, and Orient Bouquet, to load ethanol, were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which departed included Iran Tabatabaei, Dong He, Prima Vera, while Fortune Spirit, APL Osaka, Thor Captain, Oreintal Bouquet and Maya Princess will sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 73,603 tons comprising 26,984 tons of export cargo and 46,619 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Gagasan Malaka, Pacific Ace, with 1,000 and 14,000 tons of palm oil, Lalazar, with 73,000 tons of crude oil, Kota Merdesa, Bunga Delima, and Iran Kordesatan, with containers, and Emerald Coral, with steel.
