Police office damaged in bomb blast

QUETTA, Oct 2: A bomb blast in the Khuzdar civil colony on Monday damaged a police wireless office. No casualty was reported. Police sources said that the home-made bomb fitted with a time device went off near a house in the Khuzdar civil colony in the early hours on Monday. Police wireless office and the wall of a house were damaged.

An hour-long gun battle was reported on Sunday night when militants opened fire on a patrolling party of law-enforcers in the Chashma area of Dera Bugti.

Militants later escaped in the mountains. However, no loss of life was reported.
