KARACHI: Lack of staff hits EPA

KARACHI Oct 2: Sindh minister for Environment and Alternate Energy Dr Saghir Ahmed said on Monday that shortage of technical staff, lack of financial resources, absence of logistic support and several other issues were impediment in proper working of the EPA.

He said this while addressing at the orientation meeting with officers of his department here at his office. Secretary, Environment and Alternate Energy department Mohammad Iqbal Dewan, DG EPA Abdul Malik Ghouri and others were also present.

Dr Saghir said if there was will and commitment to work, such obstacles did not stop the smooth working of an organization.—PPI
