Two ‘robbers’ killed by labourers

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 1: Two highwaymen were killed by factory workers near Sahoki Malian in the jurisdiction of the Sadar police early Sunday morning.

Reports said a dozen of factory workers were on their way home after performing their duties when they were intercepted by two armed men. The labourers attacked the interceptors with clubs and stones killing them on the spot.

Both the dacoits, identified as Imran and Qaisar, were wanted by the Sadar police in many cases.

In Bagghiarwala village, Waris was shot dead allegedly by his rival, Nazir.

The Factory Area police are investigating.
