KARACHI, Oct 1: A young man was killed having been kidnapped by unknown persons. His bullet-riddled body was found in Saeedabad on Sunday.
Police said Javed Aziz, 30, was kidnapped by unknown persons near his house in the Kalapul area in Defence on Saturday.
His body was spotted in a stormwater drain in Dawood Goth in the Saeedabad area. Police recovered the body and shifted it to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Hospital sources said the victim had suffered eight bullet wounds.
Police said they were investigating the case, adding that initial investigations suggested that the killing was related to some dispute over a marriage proposal. However, police had not made any arrests till Sunday night.
