KARACHI: KKF dispatches relief goods

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Oct 1: The Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Sunday dispatched four more trucks, loaded with relief goods, to Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Thatta and Sanghar for distribution among those affected by the recent monsoon rains.

The relief items included flour bags, rice, lentils, cooking oil, ghee, dry milk packets, mineral water, tea, soap, clothes, medicines and other items of daily use.

The KKF had set up more than 25 camps in different localities of Karachi for collecting relief goods, said a press release.

Meanwhile, the MQM Coordination Committee appealed to the Haq Parast people that they should contribute their Sadqa, Zakat, Fitra and other donations to the KKF so that the poor could join them in Eid celebrations.
