DHARAMSALA (India), Sept 30: India's domestic champions Uttar Pradesh scored a 316-run victory over their Pakistan counterparts Sialkot to claim the inaugural Mohammad Nissar Trophy on Saturday.
India paceman Rudra Pratap Singh took four wickets on the final day of the four-day match to bowl out the Quaid-i-Azam winners for 112 in their 2nd innings.
Three Pakistan players, including fast bowler Mohammad Asif, did not bat after the visitors were set a target of 429 for victory on the last day. Asif had been sidelined with back trouble on the opening day.
Ranji Trophy champions Uttar Pradesh declared their second innings at 373 for seven with Man-of-the-Match Rizwan Shamshad, India under-19 captain Ravikant Shukla, India batsman Suresh Raina and Jyoti Yadav scoring half centuries.
