KARACHI, Sept 30: Six-year-old chestnut, Your Honour, should atone to previous loss by galloping to victory in the Summer Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

This will be the first of the three meetings scheduled for the holy month of Ramazan.

Your Honour, who settled for second place behind Stormy Kiss on Sept 17, start as our days best and drawn in the smallest field of five contestants in the six furlongs opener.

His likely challengers are three-year-old chestnut colt Red Rufus and chestnut Thanks Naeem.

A card of seven races has been chalked out for the day with first race starting at 12.30pm.

Three horses are in contention for honours in the next race which is also the feature event. They are four-year-old colt Silent Angel, mare Velvet Green and bay horse Chaleswan Chur.

If one goes by the current form, Silent Angel enjoys an edge over others and on trot to make it two-in-a-row. He should be chased by Velvet Green and Chaleswan Chur.

Six-year-old bay horse Trust Again should make amends by picking up div I class VII race. He is likely to be opposed by colt Sher Garh and chestnut Champion Express.

If tried by the connections, three-year-old bay colt Hawk’s Bay should pick up spoils in div II of the same class. He has not yet appeared on the board in earlier meetings.

He should be chased by colts Aces High and Cant Catch Me.

Three-year-old bay colt Mir Sikandar who was edged out by Juliat by one length last Sunday should sprint to victory in the fifth race which has 14 runners in fray.

He was unlucky as in the preceding meeting he settled for second place. He is likely to be followed by Lucky Luck and In Her Shoes.

Burnish Pride and Royal Beauty should dominate the remaining two races of the day.
