Pakistan name contingent for Asian Games
ISLAMABAD, Sept 30: Pakistan on Saturday named a 200-member strong contingent to take part in the Asian Games to be held in Doha, Qatar in December.
Pakistan will compete in 22 sports. National training camps are in full swing for the event with major preparation taking place at the Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
Besides the capital city where preparation for athletics, swimming (male), football, karate, kabaddi, cycling and wushu taking place, the taekwondo preparation going on at Rawalpindi, wrestling, weightlifting and judo at Lahore with boxing and sailing at Karachi.—APP
