Shutdown call by Seraiki parties

Multan, Sept 28: The Pasban Peoples Seraiki Party and Seraiki Democratic Party gave call for a shutdown strike for Friday (today) throughout the Seraiki belt to press for their demand for a separate province on Thursday.

The parties’ leaders Zulqarnain Bhutta, Malik Ismail Thaeem, Shabir Khan Baloch, Malik Nasir Hussain and Haji Muhammad Ashiq appealed to the people to support their cause by shutting down their businesses.

They said protest demonstrations would also be held at district headquarters in the area, including Multan.

They demanded 50 per cent job quota in Punjab for Seraiki speaking people. — Correspondent
