KARACHI, Sept 28: Only a day after his transfer from SP Driving Licence Branch on charges of misappropriation and irregularities, the same police officer has been posted as TPO Gadap.
On Sept 26, a press release issued by the Central Police Office stated that taking note of the allegations suggesting irregularities in the issuance of driving licences, the IG has suspended the DSP Driving licence Tahir Zaidi and transferred SP Javed Ahmed Baloch.
The DSP was directed to report to the office of the CCPO.
However, in a latest reshuffle, SP Baloch has been posted as TPO Gadap by the very same police hierarchy who had removed him from his earlier post citing irregularities.—Staff Reporter
