No state secrets revealed: Durrani

NEW YORK, Sept 26: Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani on Tuesday rejected PML (N) leader Mian Nawaz Sharif’s contention that President Gen Pervez Musharraf had revealed state secrets in his book.

“President Musharraf has not revealed any official secrets. This is only Mian Saheb’s habit,” Mr Durrani said in response to a question at a press briefing.

He said the PML (N) leader had made the comment even without reading the book.

When the information minister was asked if he himself had read the book, his response was: “I have not read the entire book but have seen the portions to which he (Nawaz Sharif) has referred.”—Q.A.
