HYDERABAD, Sept 26: Hyderabad DPO Ali Ahmed Junejo on Tuesday terminated the service of 15 policemen and issued show-cause notices to ten others.

During his visits to various police stations with a view to checking security arrangements, he found policemen absent from duty.

He warned TPOs and SHOs to ensure fool-proof security arrangements during Ramazan and also ensure smooth flow of traffic.

He warned SHOs of stern action if they were found guilty of dereliction of duty.

MUET: A meeting of academic heads of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology held here on Monday discussed timings for conducting supplementary examinations of 2nd,4th ,6th 8th and 10th terms of Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of City and Regional Planning and Bachelor Architecture.

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Vice-chancellor Dr A. Q. K Rajput presided over the meeting.

The meeting revised the timings of examination during Ramazan.
