NEW YORK, Sept 25: President Gen Pervez Musharraf had a 30-minute meeting with the APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at the Roosevelt Hotel here on Monday afternoon and both expressed optimism about the future of Indo-Pakistan peace process.
President Musharraf briefed the Kashmiri leader about his meeting with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in Havana, specifically on their discussion on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.—Q.A.
