Hepatitis vaccine substandard


ISLAMABAD, Sept 25: Million of rupees vaccine provided to hospitals under Prime Minister Prevention and Control Hepatitis Program has turned out to be substandard.

Reliable sources reveal that million of rupee has been spent on the vaccine to curtail hepatitis from spreading in the country under Prime Minister Prevention and Control Hepatitis Program, however it is learnt that the medicines are said to be substandard.

Sources say that instead of relief, the patients in various hospitals are in pain as substandard medicines are making them sick and reaction has started.—Online
