Ground for CCA

KARACHI, Sept 24: The new president of Karachi City Cricket Association, Dr Mohammad Ali Shah announced on Saturday that a ground in North Nazimabad will be handed over to Customs Cricket Academy (CCA) shortly.

Speaking at a function organised by CAA in honour of KCCA’s newly-elected office-bearers, Dr Shah assured the gathering that the CCA will be allocated the ground in a few weeks.

Munir Qureshi, Collector Customs (Preventive) was the chief guest on the occasion while former Pakistan captain Intikhab Alam was also present.

CCA’s chief coach and former Test paceman Jalaluddin offered KCCA to establish a cricket academy in collaboration with CCA. He highlighted the services CCA is providing in the development of cricketers and the coaches. —Agencies
