HYDERABAD, Sept 24: Employees of the Sindh Agriculture University on Sunday held a demonstration outside the press club in protest against non-acceptance of their demands and registration of false cases against them.

The demonstration was organised by the All-Sindh Universities Employees Federation.

The protesters carried banners against the vice chancellor and his son.

Shabbir Chohan, Hussain Bux Veesar, Karam Ali Bhutto and Shahmir Lochi said that employees of the university were deprived of facilities which were available to employees of other universities.

They accused the university administration of corruption and demanded that an inquiry should be conducted by the NAB into alleged misuse of funds.

They condemned the registration of false case against employees and added that the university had been converted into a police state.

They announced that they would observe a hunger strike outside the vice chancellor block till acceptance of their demands.

They said that the charter of demands had also been submitted to the university chancellor.
