KARACHI: Action ordered for breaking seal

KARACHI, Sept 24: Chairman of the Fishermen Cooperative Society’s vigilance committee Ahmed Zameer has directed the FCS manager administration to initiate legal action against those involved in breaking the seal of one of the nine moles (stocks meant for auction) at the fish harbour.

Holders of the moles had defaulted on commission payment to the FCS and the collective amount had crossed Rs100 million mark, prompting the vigilance committee to seal the nine moles. However, one of the affected mole-holders, M.Y. Mughal, resorted to breaking the seal of one mole to resume the business.—APP
