LAHORE, Sept 21: A sparkling century by opener Taskeen Qadeer and fine bowling by Sabahat Rasheed enabled Pakistan complete a 3-0 rout against Hong Kong in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday.
The home team won the last match by a mammoth margin of 246 runs at Qadhafi Stadium.
Taskeen cracked 14 boundaries while making an unbeaten 106 off 134 balls.
Bismah Mahroof also excelled in striking a 109-ball 82, laced with 11 fours during a fine opening stand of 148 with Taskeen.
Pakistan eventually piled up 295 for four in their 50 overs.
For the third time running, Hong Kong's batting crumbled under pressure as they capitulated to 49 all out in just 18.2 overs.
Sabahat caused the main damage by returning remarkable figures of four wickets for four runs in 2.2 overs.
