Small loans to promote tourism offered

ABBOTTABAD, Sept 21: PICIC is expanding its network in Hazara division and will offer small business loans to promote tourism in the area.

This was stated by Imran Samad, who was speaking at a ceremony held to re-launch the corporation’s Abbottabad branch which had collapsed in last year earthquake.

He said that 60 per cent of the collections from the Hazara division had been re-invested in the area by making advances for small and large-scale projects. He said that no loan default had been reported from the division.

Earlier, Akram Awan, zonal chief of PICIC, Islamabad, and Zafar Aziz, retail banking chief also spoke.
