ISLAMABAD, Sept 21: Outstanding spellers competed on the second day of the 3rd ‘Dawn In Education Spelling Bee’ contest held at the Islamabad Club auditorium on Thursday.

In the age category from 12-14, students tested their spelling skills against their peers in an effort to become champions of the Spelling Bee competition.

Durran Amin of Khaldunia High School emerged as the winner in the Thursday’s competition.

The 1st runner up was Amna Menon of Preparatory School and the second runner up was Haneen Khalid of Headstart School.

As many as 400 schools from across the country are participating in the competition.

The national championship would be held on September 23 at the Islamabad Club auditorium.
