KARACHI, Sept 21: A fire broke out in a chemical godown in Site area on Thursday night. However, no casualty was reported. A fire department spokesperson said that the fire had broken out in a godown by the name of Haji Akhlaq having huge deposit of chemicals.
Fire-tenders from the entire city were called out to control the fire, the spokesman added.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, the spokesman added. Till filing of this report the fire fighting operation was still in full swing.
