Police asked to tighten security

GUJRANWALA, Sept 20: Regional police officer additional IG Malik Muhammad Iqbal on Wednesday directed all police officials to tighten security outside mosques and imambargahs during Ramazan to avert any untoward incident. At a meeting held here on Wednesday, he appealed to prayer leaders to promote religious harmony and avoid misuse of loudspeakers.

He warned that SHOs and SDPOs would be taken to task if they failed to maintain law and order during Ramazan.
