Solar eclipse on Friday


KARACHI, Sept 19: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has announced that there will be an eclipse of the sun on Friday. It said that the solar eclipse would not be visible in Pakistan. The eclipse would begin at 2.48pm (PST) and end at 6.32pm. It would be visible only from a few cities of South America, Eastern Caribbean, South Atlantic Ocean, South-West Africa and Antarctica.—APP
