MIRPURKHAS, Sept 19: Manu Bheel whose tragic story has been receiving media attention for some time denied on Tuesday that the two Bheel women shown to him by police were his missing daughters.

The special investigating team of DIG found the two women in Achhro Thar of Sanghar district a few days back and called Mannu from Hyderabad to identify them as, Moomal and Dheli, his daughters.

Manu was taken to a bungalow where he met the two women but said later they were not his daughters. Later, he told reporters that police had failed to recover his family members and he did not know who these women were.

He accused police of dilly-dallying on the issue to buy more time and avoid embarrassment before the apex court.

MCCI OFFICE-BEARERS: Abdul Khaliq Khan, Seth Ratan Chand and Mohammad Farooq were elected unopposed as president, senior vice president and vice president in the annual elections of Mirpurkhas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for 2006-07 on Tuesday.
