TEHRAN, Sept 18: A local court in southeastern Iran has sentenced four Pakistanis and one Iranian man to death for drug trafficking, ISNA news agency reported on Monday.
The Zahedan revolutionary court in Sistan-Balochestan province handed down the death penalty to the four Pakistani men, identified only by their initials of M.A, B.G, S. and F.A, after they were convicted of trafficking several kilograms of heroin.
The Iranian, identified as Ghader R., was also convicted of trafficking 12 kilos of heroin.
