KARACHI, Sept 18: Top seed Khurram Agha chalked up two magnificent triumphs on the penultimate day to surge on top of the table with 31 points in addition to ensuring a berth in the final of 20th Latif Masters snooker tournament on Monday.
First he handed a 5-1 defeat to veteran cueist Mohammad Yousuf and then overcame Sohail Shahzad with an identical scoreline.
There is a two-way tie for the second slot between Yousuf and defending champion Naveen which would become clear at the end of their last league matches Tuesday noon.
Yousuf who has secured 26 points takes Sohail Shahzad whereas Naveen who is trailing third with 24 points is drawn to meet Salman Shaikh.
The seventh and last round of league matches will be played on Tuesday in two sessions. Players attaining top two positions will contest for the crown at 5.00pm.
