This was stated by the vice-chancellor of the University of Karachi, Prof Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, while speaking as chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the golden jubilee celebrations of the Department of Library and Information Science, KU, at the campus on Monday.

The vice-chancellor said that we should get connected to the system of digitalisation as this would help provide excellent opportunities for teaching and research. He was of the view that the availability of latest technology for higher education would also help enhance the academic standards.
