KARACHI, Sept 18: The centralised admission committee of the Sindh education department on Monday issued a list of 10,559 woman students selected for admissions to medical faculty for first year classes at 51 government colleges and higher secondary schools.

A maximum of 672 students were placed for Sir Syed College for Women, where admission was closed at 686 marks. The placement list pertaining to PECHS College for Women closed at 744 marks, which was the highest closing marks, followed by St Lawrance Girls College (733 marks) and Degree College Stadium Road (726 marks).

The maximum (opening) and minimum (closing) marks in the admission lists for different institutions were as follows:
