ABBOTTABAD, Sept 18: At least eight people, two of themsisters, died and six others were injured when a van going from Abbottabad to Sherwan fell into a ravine near Bega Kot village, 25 kilometres from here, of Monday.
Seven of the victims died on the spot while one died on the way to hospital.
Those who died in the accident are: Rubina Bibi, daughter of Mohammad Sadiq; Arshad, son of Akbar; Miskeen, son of Sumnder; Abdur Rasheed, son of Mohsin; Qudrat Noor, wife of Zain Mohammad; Shafai Bibi, wife of Abdur Rasheed; Maleeha, daughter of Sher Afzal; and Ayesha, daughter of Sher Afzal.
The injured were brought to the Ayub Medical complex, where the condition of three of them is critical.
