LAHORE, Sept 17: A woman, who sustained bullet injuries in an exchange of fire between two rival groups in Hassanabad village, Sattokatla, about a week ago, died in a hospital here on Sunday.

Police said Shahnaz Bibi (40) of the Shafee group had got bullet wounds when the Ashraf group opened fire on the rival party during a divorce decision in the village council. Six people, including four women from both groups, had suffered inquiries.

Shahnaz was the wife of Shafee and her daughter had contracted marriage with Ashraf. The body was returned to the family after autopsy. —Reporter
