KARACHI: 59 deprived of vehicles and cellphones


KARACHI, Sept 16: As many as 59 people were deprived of their cars, motorbikes or cellphones here on Saturday.

Police said 27 vehicles – 12 cars and 15 motorcycles – were either snatched or stolen while 32 people were deprived of their mobile phones. They said four cars were snatched at gunpoint and eight others stolen. Bandits held eight people at gunpoint and snatched their motorcycles. Seven other motorbikes were stolen.

Eleven people reported that their mobile phones were taken away at gunpoint and 21 others reported that their cellphones were stolen.—Staff Reporter
