WASHINGTON, Sept 16: A suspect bag that prompted a partial evacuation on Saturday of a Washington area airport did not contain an explosive device, a fire marshal said.
“It’s over,” Cheryl Stewart, a spokeswoman at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, said in a phone interview. “The item was taken away from the public.”
Paul Schlotterbeck, a Maryland state deputy fire marshal, said: “It was determined it wasn’t an explosive device.”—AFP
