KARACHI, Sept 16: Two ships carrying chemicals and diesel oil were berthed at MPT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Berth occupancy remained fell to 60pc as only six ships, Explorer-1, Fareast Star, Madre, Al-Marwah, Warbah and Kimberly, were busy in loading and offloading cement, sugar, chemicals, diesel oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 73,947 tons comprising 72,435 tons of import and 1,512 tons of export tonnage was handled.
