KARACHI, Sept 15: Due to the inordinate delay in the declaration of HSC Science (pre-engineering) annual examination results by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, the NED University of Engineering and Technology has decided to defer its “pre-admission test” till October 1.
The registrar of the varsity Javed Aziz Khan told Dawn that since the BIE Karachi from where a maximum number of applicants came to the NED University had failed to declare the intermediate pre-engineering results as promised earlier, the varsity had been constrained to postpone the entry test, which was scheduled to be held on September 21.
He said that anticipating that the results would come out in a couple of days; the varsity authorities had decided to hold the entry test on October 1. Application and admit card forms can be obtained from the admission office up to September 28 during office/bank hours and submitted by September 29, before 1pm.
In the meantime, it was learnt from a source in BIE that the HSC-II (pre-engineering) results would be declared on Sept 18 or 19.
