KARACHI, Sept 15: Nine ships including Pacific Sun-2 carrying 20,000 tons of sugar are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Johar, to unload crude oil, Calvin P Titus, to unload and load containers, Constantinos-G to offload sugar and Free Fighter to unload coal were berthed after the departure of seven.

The ships, which departed included Hyundai Advance, Y.M. Energy, Roseanne, Sea Tizen, Ryu Gyong, Pacific Express and Sinai, while Matina, Sea Harmony, Diana, Carolina, Ocean Highway and Johar are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 82,264 tons comprising 27,156 tons of export cargo and 55,108 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Pacific Sun-2, with 20,000 tons of sugar, Oel Aishwarya, Global Prosperity, Cape Santiago, CMA CGM Simba, Corin Thaikos and Maersk Arkansas, with containers and Serife and Shipping Land-6, with coal.
