Girl student among seven kidnapped

KASUR, Sept 14: Seven people, including a girl student, were kidnapped in three different incidents here on Thursday. Mussarat was returning from her school in Kacha Pucca village when she was abducted by Ishtiaq and his accomplices at gunpoint. On the complaint of Muhammad Aslam, the victim’s father, the police have registered a case against the accused.

A-Division police have instituted a case against accused Irfan for abducting married woman Shahnaz and her two children, Amna Bilal and Kashif Bilal.

Bilal Khokhar told police that his wife had relations with the accused.

Another married woman, Surraya of Dengia village, eloped with her lover Iqbal. She also took away her two children, Ashraf and Sidra, and valuables, including ornaments.

FORMS: Over 1,000 forms will be distributed among unemployed youths under the president’s self-employment scheme at the main branch of the National Bank of Pakistan. This was stated by NBP manager Sardar Sadiq Akbar here on Thursday.

REGISTRATION: Private educational institutions should get their institutions registered immediately so that they could benefit from the forthcoming reforms.

This was stated by Punjab Education Reforms Committee chairman and provincial parliamentary secretary Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan in a meeting at Khar village on Thursday.
