Tractor driver dies in accident

JACOBABAD, Sept 13: One person was killed and seven others injured in a collision between a tractor and a Karachi-bound bus on the Indus Highway, near the Naich village, in the jurisdiction of Kashmore on Wednesday.

Reports received here said that the Karachi-bound bus, which was coming from Swat, collided with the tractor. The driver of the tractor, Mohammad Malook was killed while his assistant Dur Mohammad was seriously injured. The injured was shifted to a hospital in Rahimyar Khan.

Six bus passengers received minor injuries.

Police shifted the body to the civil hospital, Kashmore, for autopsy. No FIR was lodged till the filing of the report.
