IJT’s rally

LAHORE, Sept 13: The Education Science College’s Islami Jamiat Tulaba activists staged a protest demonstration in front of the Lahore Press Club on Wednesday against the University of Education administration for implicating six students in the murder of the college’s vice-principal.

The students were carrying banners and placards bearing slogans against university vice-chancellor Dr Mustafa Habibullah.

The protesters said the VC and the college principal were trying to play with the future of students. They said the UoE administration was implicating students in the case for raising voice against corruption and malpractices in the university.

They also criticised the police investigation team for showing partiality in favour of the university administration. They said this attitude would not bring true facts regarding the murder of Dr Kausar. They demanded that the government should remove the VC, change the police investigation and quash fake cases against students.
