Two hurt by grenade

MIANWALI, Sept 13: Two people were injured in a hand grenade attack here on Wednesday at Chak 4-DB, some 25km from here. Reports said Jaffar Abbas and Arif Masood Moosakhel had a clash over a trifle a few days back.

On Wednesday, Arif Masood along with Omer Hayat and Muhammad Iqbal was sitting at a motorcycle workshop of Faqir Husain when Jaffar Abbas came there and threw a hand grenade at the shop. As a result of which Omer Hayat and Muhammad Iqbal suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Mianwali DHQ hospital.

Kundian SHO Ahmed Abbas Khan said the police had arrested Jaffar and registered a case against him under Sections 7-ATA, Explosive Act and 324 of the PPC on the complaint of Muhammad Iqbal.
