KARACHI, Sept 13: A large number of students of different private schools on Wednesday staged a peaceful protest demo outside the Karachi Press Club, urging the Sindh education ministry to commence separate exams of Class IX.

The demonstration was arranged by the All-Private Schools Management Association Sindh.

APSMA Sindh chairman Syed Khalid Shah and other office-bearers were also present.

The students demanded that academic session should begin from April. They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the composite exams.

Later, they offered special prayer for health of Dr A Q Khan.—PPI
