KARACHI, Sept 13: Three ships carrying sugar, coal and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Matina and Sea Tizen, tankers, Avalon and Pacific Express, with general cargo were berthed.

Two ships, Thor Captain and Buenos Aires departed on Wednesday, while Al-Mukhtarah, APL Jabel Ali, Matina and Ryu Gyong are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves moderately active where a total tonnage of 64,925 tons comprising 10,805 tons of export cargo and 54,120 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due to arrive on Thursday: Calvin P.Titus, with containers, Constantinos-G, with sugar and Free Fighter, with coal.
