LAHORE, Sept 12: Fine batting by Kaleem Ahmed (42) and Nauman Ishtiaq (30 not out) from lower-order helped Lahore beat Karachi by two wickets in the PCB national school cricket Inter-region championship at Cricket Centre ground on Tuesday.

Kaleem with Mahboob Shahid (13) added 42 runs in the unbroken ninth wicket-stand as Lahore achieved the target of 174, scoring 178-8 in 46.3overs.
