65 illegal migrants held
LVIV, Sept 12: Sixty-five clandestine migrants, including 54 Indians and seven Pakistanis, have been arrested near Ukraine’s border with Slovakia in the last 24 hours, Ukrainian border authorities said on Tuesday.
The nationality of the other four migrants was not specified.
Since Slovakia, Poland and Hungary, which all border Ukraine, joined the EU, the country has become a major transit route for illegal migrants.—AFP
