IUB signs MoU with vet varsity

BAHAWALPUR, Sept 10: The Islamia University Bahawalpur and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore have signed a memorandum of understanding for exchange of programmes in academic, scientific and technical fields.

The MoU was signed by IUB vice-chancellor Prof Dr Belal A Khan and UVAS VC Prof Dr Manzoor Ahmed here on Sunday.

The 10-year memorandum also envisaged collaboration in research work on Cholistan desert.

Both the universities would appoint liaison officers to monitor its implementation and progress.

After the signing ceremony, vice-chancellors of both the universities expressed the hope that the MoU would play an active role for better education of students and development of the areas.
