By Our Correspondent

TOBA TEK SINGH, Sept 10: An impersonator deprived the family of a deceased army personnel of Rs10,000 at Chak 282-JB on Sunday. Reports said a man came to the house of deceased Lance Naik Pervez Akhtar, who was killed during army operation in kohlu, and introduced himself as a colleague of the late soldier.

After offering condolence to the family, the impersonator said he could help them get the pension and other dues of the deceased for which he would need Rs10,000 and some documents.

The brother of the deceased soldier, Saeed Ahmad, gave him the money and the documents, after which he left the place.

Later, when Saeed inquired about his whereabouts, the man proved to be a fake.

The matter has been reported to the police.
