Gas pipeline blown up

QUETTA, Sept 9: Gas supply to many areas of Quetta was suspended after a pipeline in Sariab area was blown up by unidentified men on Saturday night, police said.

High explosive were planted on the six-inch-diameter pipeline located near Tariq Hospital, police said, adding that a portion of the pipeline blew up, cutting off gas supply to Sariab, New Adha, Hazarganji and the adjoining areas.
