HOVE, Sept 9: English cricket county Sussex are expecting Pakistan paceman Rana Naved-ul-Hasan back at Hove next week as their Championship title bid reaches a climax.
Naved took 34 wickets in five games earlier in season before injury and international commitments deprived Sussex of his services. Compatriot Yasir Arafat has done a good job as his replacement.
But manager Mark Robinson confirmed: “He'll be playing a full part in the squad until end of season.”
Sussex currently hold 19-point lead over second-placed Lancashire, but Red Rose county have chance to overtake them with a convincing win in their home game against Durham, starting on Wednesday.—Agencies
